      these are made of recycled plastic, consist of a tray system, on legs & a tap to collect liquid leachate.
      The price includes the Worm Farm as well as 1kg (approx. 4000) worms, 20 litres of Castings
      and our own comprehensive instruction booklet to ensure your success.
      We set these units up so that they are 2 to 3 months advanced, which means you will get a good supply
      of quality liquid within 24 hours of delivery.

      at a discounted rate:

      Have your own Worm Farm?
      We can supply worms to establish a Worm Farm that you have already acquired.

    • If you have a Worm Farm like a Can-O-Worms, a Worm Factory or a Worm Cafe, then we recommend
      starting them off with either 1/2kg (approx 2000) or 1kg (approx 4000) worms.
      We can set your worm farm up so that it is 2 to 3 months advanced, we do this by filling up
      the first working tray with Castings (20 litres) and placing the worms in the second working tray.
      The cost for this set-up is $70.00 for 1/2kg of worms plus Castings,
      or $110.00 for 1kg of worms plus Castings.
      An instruction booklet is provided.
      Delivery is available (metro only).

    • For larger Worm Farms like old fridges or bathtubs the recommended set-up is
      3kgs (approx 12000) worms, on a base of Castings (60 litres).
      The cost for this set-up is $330.00, including an instruction booklet created by us.

    • Of course, you can start with more worms if you wish.

      Castings (worm poo):
      Castings is a rich, organic, all purpose, soluble fertilizer suitable for all plant types.
    • Castings 20lt bag -   $16.50 ea
      • Used when 'Planting Out', Castings reduces transplant shock and encourages strong root development.
        Place a handful of Castings in the planting hole, pop in the seedling, backfill, water and then....
        stand back!!
      • As a Soil Conditioner, allow 2 - 4 litres of Castings per square metre.
      • As a general fertilizer / plant food, you can use as much as you like. Castings is totally natural
        & won't harm even the most delicate plants.
    • Seed Raising Mix, 20 lt bag - $16.50 ea
      Chittering Valley Worm Farm's own Seed Raising Mix contains Castings for superior seed germination.

      Worm Wiz (leachate):
      Liquid leachate is a concentrated form of plant nutrients obtained from a worm farm.
