Events and Displays

We are proud to be invited to attend many events throughout the year, including the Perth Royal Show where we're displayed in the Discover Dirt pavilion and enjoy making Mini Worm Farms with the kids.

Other events include the Gidgegannup Small Farm Field Day - We speak to visitors about how worms can assist in sustainable and efficient practices in farming, as well as bringing piles of worms to make kids Mini Worm Farms.

2017 also marks our 11th year attending & hosting an education stall at the very popular Kulunga Katitjin Festival held at Kings Park for school students, where we give a presentation on worms and recycling & let the kids get their hands dirty looking for worms!

"Perth's leading environmental educators and Aboriginal presenters will join students in the WA Botanic Garden with great activities, displays, performances and much more to promote a sustainable and respectful future for all." - Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority

Please email for more information or to book The Worm Shed for your upcoming event or workshop.

Garden Clubs & Environmental Groups

The Worm Shed is available to attend Garden Clubs and Environmental groups' meetings. We'd love to have a chat with your group about the benefits of worms for the garden and the role they play in waste management.
